Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.cockroachjantaparty.buzz (the "Site"), operated by Cockroach Janta Party ("CJP", "we"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

The Site is intended for residents of India aged 18 years or older. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement.

2. Membership

Membership of CJP is free. By submitting the join form, you confirm that the information you provide is true, that you accept the CJP five-point agenda, and that you intend to vote in the next election you are eligible for.

3. Paid Product — CJP Member Badge

The only paid product on the Site is the CJP Digital Member Badge at ₹499. Payment is made via UPI to the VPA shown in checkout. The badge is a personalised PNG image, emailed to you after we verify the UPI Transaction Reference (UTR) you submit. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for refund terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• submit false, misleading, or another person's personal information;
• impersonate any person or entity;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its server, or any other user's account;
• use the Site to send spam, malware, or unlawful content;
• scrape, mirror, or republish substantial portions of the Site without written permission;
• use the Site for any unlawful purpose under Indian law.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — text, logos, illustrations, code — is owned by CJP or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share links to the Site freely, but reproduction or commercial use of CJP content requires written permission.

6. User-Generated Content

If you submit voices, petition signatures, or other content to the Site, you grant CJP a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, share and republish that content in connection with CJP's lawful activities. You retain ownership of the content.

7. Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, freedom from errors, or fitness for any particular purpose. CJP is not currently registered with the Election Commission of India and openly describes itself as a satirical political movement and citizens' campaign.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, CJP's total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the Site is limited to the amount you have paid to CJP in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for free members, is zero).

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold CJP, its volunteers and operators harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Site.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Pune, Maharashtra.
